We know how difficult it can be to find your style when you first start decorating your home. That’s why we’ve put together a list of key features of different home décor styles alongside products we think will fit just right for you!
Scandinavian
- Clean lines and minimalist design. Use of natural materials like wood and leather.
- Light, neutral colour palette with pops of soft pastels.
- Functional furniture with simple, sleek designs and an Emphasis on natural light and open spaces.
If this sounds like your dream room, have a look at the Scandi and Tiva collections for inspiration.
Industrial
- Raw, unfinished materials like exposed brick, concrete, and metal. Utilitarian furniture with distressed finishes.
- Neutral colour palette with accents of black, grey, and metallics.
- Open, spacious layouts with high ceilings.
We feel that our Hoxton range lives and breathes the industrial aesthetic. This range has you covered in the living room, bedroom and even your home office!
Mid-Century Modern
- Clean lines and organic shapes. Use of natural materials like wood and leather.
- Bold, contrasting colours with geometric patterns.
- Iconic furniture pieces with tapered legs and minimalist silhouettes.
There’s two ways you can go with mid-century modern and we believe a bit of both never hurt anyone! You can go beautifully simple with something like the Malmo range, or something a little bit more funky, like the Casablanca collection. You still have the same clean lines but the geometric patterns are printed on the drawer handles and the mix of wood tones makes it even more unique!
Traditional
- Rich, warm colours like burgundy, navy, and forest green.
- Formal arrangements and symmetry in layout. Textured fabrics such as velvet, silk, and damask.
- Classic patterns to accent the room like floral, paisley, and stripes.
You can’t go wrong with a Chesterfield for a really traditional homey look. We’re very excited to share that we have these beautiful sofas in a huge range of sizes and colours, so you can really go bold with your traditional home décor looks.
Bohemian (Boho)
- Eclectic mix of colours, patterns, and textures. Global influences with items from different cultures.
- Layered rugs, floor cushions, and tapestries. Plants and natural elements for a relaxed, earthy feel.
- Vintage and handmade items with a sense of whimsy.
One of our favourite ranges within the style is the Bordeaux collection. Its woven doors and gold accents make this a beautiful staple in a boho space.
Farmhouse
- Rustic charm with distressed wood and vintage accents.
- Neutral colour palette with white as a predominant colour.
- Cozy, comfortable furnishings with oversized pieces.
- Natural textiles like burlap, linen, and cotton.
- Decorative elements like mason jars, barn doors, and reclaimed wood.
A standout feature for any Farmhouse furniture is the brushed steel cup handles which are part of the Kendal collection. This product line offers something for every living space in your home.
Coastal
- Light, airy colour palette inspired by the ocean and beach.
- Use of natural materials like rattan, wicker, and seagrass.
- Nautical elements such as stripes, anchors, and shells.
- Casual, comfortable furnishings with slipcovers and soft fabrics.
