Dining Chair Sets of 4

Why choose a set of 4 dining chairs?

Four seats match a very common table size. Many compact rectangular and round tables seat four. If you would rather build up your seating gradually, dining chairs sold as a set of 2 let you add seats pair by pair. Buying dining chairs in a set of 4 means all four arrive in the same colour and leg finish.

A common scenario: a couple moves into a two-bedroom flat with a kitchen-diner. They need four seats for meals with friends, but no more. A set of 4 dining chairs covers that need in a single purchase.

A set also simplifies delivery and assembly. All four chairs arrive together, so you set up the room in one go. To compare other sizes and styles, browse our full dining chair collection.

Faux leather: practical and easy to clean

The Sierra uses faux leather, chosen because it is easy to clean. Food and drink spills sit on the surface instead of soaking in. A damp cloth removes most marks in seconds.

For this reason, a set of 4 faux leather dining chairs suits homes with young children. It also suits households that eat most meals at the table. In practice, the chairs keep a tidy look with a quick wipe after each meal.

Faux leather dining chairs sold as a set of 4 still need basic care. Keep the chairs away from direct heat, such as radiators, to avoid drying the surface. Use a mild soap solution for stubborn marks and avoid solvent cleaners. If you prefer a softer seat, our velvet chairs for the dining room come in pairs.

Colours and leg finishes

Our sets of 4 dining chairs come in black, grey and white. Black and grey come with silver or black legs, and white comes with silver legs. Pick the colour first, then the legs to match your table base or handles.

A set of 4 black dining chairs is the most adaptable option. Black chairs work with oak, white and glass tables alike. For an all-dark look, choose black dining chairs in a set of 4 with black legs.

A set of 4 grey dining chairs gives a softer contrast and shows less dust than black. Grey chairs with silver legs suit modern kitchens with chrome or steel details. For more dark seating in velvet and faux leather, see our black dining chairs.

A set of 4 white dining chairs brightens a small or north-facing room. The white Sierra comes with silver legs. White faux leather shows marks sooner, so wipe it regularly.

Budget, offers and finance

Many shoppers look for a cheap set of 4 dining chairs when furnishing a first home. Price matters, but so does how long the chairs last. Faux leather on a metal frame offers a sensible balance for everyday use.

Prices change during the year. If you are waiting for a sale on dining chairs in sets of 4, check the collection page regularly. When a set of 4 dining chairs on sale appears, compare the final price per chair rather than the percentage discount.
